Home stretch! Praying for another vbac and I've been anxious about it.
-38 weeks
-gained 38 lbs. weight is now 158
- I have an appointment this Wednesday and the midwife said she might be able to strip my membranes...I'll be 2 days shy of 39 weeks. I was 2-3cm and 50% effaced at my last check. Baby's head was at -2 station.
-I've been feeling pretty good for the most part. Last Friday I had prodromal labor all day. I've been getting things done around the house but also have been tired.
-no stretch marks and no swelling
-my maternity shirts are getting shorter and my pants are a little tighter around my legs
-I have heartburn still, pee a ton, lots of pressure below and maybe a hemorrhoid? I've never had one but I think maybe I do this time. Lots of Braxton hicks. Stuffy nose.
-I have low potassium again and was told to eat 2 bananas a day. I think the low potassium has been causing some heart palpitations.
-I'm nervous about how Colette is going to do with the new baby. She just turned 19 months and she is super attached to me. Makes me sad :(. Amelia is excited and can't wait to be a helper :).
-Patrick has been nesting like crazy. We had roof work done and he's also been working on other big projects like humidifier on furnace, fixed shower leak, fixing kitchen ceiling and putting in lighting. Installing upstairs doors still.
Our abf class at church gave us a shower that was fun and we got quite a few gift cards. We have an amazing support system between our family, friends and church family!
I finished decorating the girls new combined room. I also decorated the fireplace mantle for spring. Next, I'm going to focus on decorating our bedroom. I love doing these projects and love the challenge of doing it on a limited budget!
Curtain pat and I made to fit the window...finally!
